ok we get the idea, someone will reply when they have an answer. (so keep bumping and I'll just close the thread)

In the meantime how about checking out DS #1964: Advance Wars Days of Ruin (USA) (the official topic for the game) to see if you can find the solution to your issue.

Also you may not have recieved a response because this topic appears to have been posted in the wrong area.

Make sure to be using the latest patcher 2.65

To avoid the 'reverse screens' make sure 'Enable Patch Cartridge Access' is set to option LOW.

If you have trouble even getting the rom to run, turn OFF 'Enable Restart'

What worked for me was:

Enable restart: off
Enable trim rom: off
Faster play game: on
Enable DMA mode: off
Que game: off
Enable GBA union: off
Enable patch cartridge access: on set to low
