Hacking What are the pros and cons of PastaCFW and rxTools?

I've been trying to figure out if I should switch to PastaCFW or stay on rxTools? what are the strength and weakness's of both? sorry if this was posted I couldn't find it any where!

Pasta has no emu, rxtools is a pain to first setup since the guides are outdated

I don't think theres anything pasta CFW can do that rxTools can't do. RxTools does everything pasta does and more.

Pasta was the first 9.2 CFW. Now it is outdated except for a few tasks where the fancy stuff gets in the way.

yeah, ill agree with you on that, I had to use several guides to get my 3DS running emunand and rxTools lol

Someone told me that cakes is best, for N3DS users. I have no idea what's so much better about it compared to rxtools though.

I even heard that someone said it was better just because of it's simpler code.

Last stable is December , in github it's being updated with new stuff each day in commits

pasta is simple to built. rxtools is not and gives pain. with pasta you can play games which over 9.2 fw as fw spoofed versions. hard to find them and you can't know if they wil brick your console unless you import cia's.

sure. pasta cfw offers you nothing if you use rxtools.
