Homebrew What are the best emulators for NES and SNES on the 3DS?

I have a new 3ds with Luma installed and was wondering which emulators I should grab so I can rock out some Contra and various other games from way back when. Any info or links you could pass along would be greatly appreciated.

these two work great on old 3ds
i think snes9x works better on new 3ds

Picodrive and GenesisPlusGX through Retroarch, Picodrive does 32X/Gen-MD/SMS without FM/GG/SegaCD and GenesisPlusGX does Gen-MD/SMS with FM/GG/SegaCD/SG1000

Picodrive does SegaCD, too, though none of the pair actually reaches fullspeed, in my experience. I haven't tried the newly released picodrive 3ds port for SegaCD games, though.

The current version of the 3DS port doesn't do PCM and CDDA playback for SCD/MCD games, but the next version will.
