Hacking wfs folder in NAND backup

Recently I noticed a new folder in my nand backup called "wfs". I was not able to find any further information about this folder. All I know it's completly emtpy. Any backup I make, contains this folder. Anyone an idea?

Ah well, which means the purpose of that folder is not known yet.
