We need a Switch Homebrew Hype Train image like we do for when Blizzcon is coming up, like so:

Here is one i stole and edited for your convenience.

Could someone please explain what functionality this gains us and what still needs to happen to get us to homebrew?

This is it baby! It's done! Homebrew is a go-go! I'd imagine that right now it's just simple text saying Hello World, but they'll be figuring out graphics next. From there, who knows!

This is more of the ability to now create homebrew, code execution is opening the door. Now we need to make usable tools and UIs, and so on. Though userland limits will limit what one could conceivably do to some degree. Good day for homebrew, probably going to be secretly disappointing for those who just wanted piracy. :)

Grats to @Daeken and good luck on whatever lies ahead!

Ever since I watched the Switch announcement, I dreamt of emulators on it (it's the perfect machine for it)
But I would have never hoped to see these many progresses in just a few months from release.

Is this some kind of record? I know something for 3ds was found right away, but still...

PS4's 1.76 was very early. WiiU was basically open immediately, just not released. Wii was open right away. etc...
