Great news for all those who had the patience to wait.
Now let's keep our fingers crossed that running pirated games never will be possible.

Well, the Wii U... no, wait, that was poor sales.
Well, the PS Vita... oh, dammit, that was also poor sales.
Well, the PSP... okay, I guess that thing had lots of releases after piracy was already established...

Can't really argue here.
The 3DS? Oh wait that was a huge success.
The Wii? Oh no this was yet another success.
The DS? Oh no that's the second best selling console of all time.

The fact those consoles failed was due to other issues not related to piracy, your logic is flawed.

Really don't start this piracy bs again. Also even if we have piracy, Nintendo have nothing to fear as long as only 3.0 is hackable.

they have nothing to fear anyways people who mod their consoles only account for like 0.00000000001% of the user base

the N consoles that had the most backup loader use did the best out of all , wii and DS were their best selling consoles ever
and had easy backup loading almost out of the gate
the wii U didn't get backup loading until after it died and did horrible
backup loading was easiest on the wii and DS and they were the best selling N consoles of all time next to GB , and it was not so easy on GC , which like the wii u did not do that well either

If people didn't immediately reflexively try to justify themselves against a non-existent spectre of accusation, they'd realize the point wasn't about accusation. But cognitive dissonance is a hell of a thing. /shrug

It was a question of and reference to feasibility.

Not being able to run newer games (including legitimate) would likely kill the scene when it may be niche enough as it is.

It's the biggest factor between me deciding whether to stay on <=3.0 or not.

Don't hurt yourself...

This is nothing new. Every thread like this inevitably turns to piracy discussions.

With all the fast progress and something soon on the horizon, I didnt have any plans, but I'm getting my 2nd switch next week for homebrew, good timing as I can apply my staff double discount too. :)

If anyone could just help me real quick.

I bought switch near release and played only Zelda,

Finished and never touched it again.

I never got it online for an update. What version it is? And what game can I buy to get it to 3.0.0 ?

Thanks!
