Hacking Well this sucks...

I booted up my DS today to play some Sonic when suddenly. *LOADING...* A couple of minutes later I returned to my DS and it was STILL loading. So I thought, "This is when my R4 Backup comes in use!" So I inserted the Micro SD reader into my PC and it asks me to format it. So I tried. "Windows could not format." "Please make sure the disk is inserted right." Being me, I blowed at the reader and tried again. Same results. Then I went downstairs and tried it on my dads PC. It crashed. I can't afford a new MicroSD card so what can I do?

Google panasonic formatter, and use that to format your card.

Then apply your backup if sucessful to the card afterwards!

Aren't MicroSD cards cheap? I can get 2gb for $8.

i never said, don't get a new one. I just gave him basic procedure to try and fix this kind of thing. Anyway it's true ($8 off shoptemp http://shoptemp.com/)

If the procedure Kevan told you to do fails, then just get a new micro sd, should fix the problem.
