I have a Japanese PS3, I updated it to 4.84 and installed Rebug 4.84.2 and WebMAN.
So I started transfering my PS1 games as BIN/CUE to mount using WebMAN and they booted up fine using ps1_emu, the problem is that the emulator has many audio issues so I looked it up and found out about ps1_netemu. I made the switch and... every time I boot up a ps1 game with netemu it just goes into a black screen, I can still quit the game through the menu so it's a sort of a softlock. Except for one game that I have is also Japanese and it works great with ps1_netemu, the problem is my pal/ntsc games.
I am baffled as to why netemu would ever be region locked, unless there is another problem here.
