Quoting QuarkTheAwesome from discord:
"Just interjecting to angrily remind everyone that the ELF files browserhax loads and the ELF files that HBL loads are in no way compatible, seems like everyone keeps forgetting that"
God to know lol !

Alright, so I'm messing around with this. I've gotten it working a few times on my Wii U (it is running CBHC, so not really sure if that makes a difference in exploit land). Changing the deltas seems to make it do something different, but I definitely can't get any of them to work consistently every time. I have hosted a slightly modified copy at http://u.drg.li/ but added a (0 1 2 3 4) buttons below the main exploit button that will try all of the different deltas respectively. The main exploit button uses the exploit.html file that comes with the repo. I got it to work with the original boot.elf, but now I'm hosting the homebrew launcher elf file, which seems to just hang on the white gradient screen forever for me if the console doesn't crash before the browser exits. I switched it back to the original boot.elf, the homebrew launcher elf file is incompatible, duh.

Testing the 0 under exploit gave me the white gradient, not sure if the other deltas make a difference.

Ok, I am super excited about this. Sorry for the question, but is it hosted anywhere that I could use it for installing haxchi on 5.5.2? I already have Brain Training ready.

The way that works is by booting exploit0.html, which is the same as exploit.html, but the delta is changed to 0x0. As I said, I couldn't get any of them working very consistently, but I thought it would be worthwhile to be able to test different ones without manually editing the file every time. The 1 2 3 and 4 buttons are the same but with 0x100000, etc, etc, etc.

There is also a mirror at https://u.coltondrg.xyz/ (in addition to http://u.drg.li/) if the shorter URL isn't working for some reason.

@quarktheawesome : This is a different kind of elf. It should be easy enough to port the HBL installer to it, just a case of someone actually doing so.
@quarktheawesome : I'm happy to if nobody else has done it within 15hrs or however long it is until I'm next free.

Seems in good shape, we can all sit back and have a good break ! :)

To all having issues, just try to selfhost it, i have like 80% success rate locally.

Have been testing with @ColtonDRG 's site, and it seems the 0x0 delta configuration is pretty consistent if not hosting locally.

For those wondering, if you see the "Hello, I am a elf" message, it means the exploit was successful. We just have to wait on a working hbl payload now.

I got it to load "Hello I am ELF" first try on exploit 0, than I kicked back to a black screen. Haven't tried the other ones yet but I'm gettin giddy seeing progress being made on this.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet

well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P
