I am trying to use this to download the Smash 4 DLC, but when I get homebrew to work and I try to install the DLC through WUP Installer mod y, it gives me an error saying the Sig Patch is needed. Does this have to do anything with all of this, or is the source of the error entirely different? I haven't changed anything since the last time I did it in 5.5.1 and it then worked fine.

Just wanna pop in and express my gratitude to the modders and the hosters. Took me about a good hour of trying but I finally got exploit 2 to work. Installed haxchi, ain't gonna get caught slipping again.

Quick tip to the people getting the cannot load page notice, I moved my Wii U closer to my router and stopped getting those errors. After moving it closer the exploit worked in three tries compared to the 20+ I did before I moved. Don't know if it's coincidence or not but worth noting. Also cleared cookies and browser saves maybe every 3 or 5 tries.

Thanks again, everyone

Hmm, odd. The Github version causes a "Because of the size of this page, not all of the page could be displayed." error, the other two links do not. All of them used to until I cleared my browser data, but the Github one is still giving me issues.

Regardless though, I know it has a low chance of success, but I haven't managed to get it work once, not even once! It just locks up every time no matter which site or which delta I use.... and I have been trying for nearly 5 hours now! :(

You need Haxchi for sig patches.

(((also pretty sure piracy discussion isn't allowed here)))

Run mocha beforehand

this forum is a piracy discussion, what isn't allowed is providing warez.
Okay, nevermind then. In lots of similar forums any mention of tools used primarily for piracy or implicit admissions of piracy will get you banned. (It also gives this type of work a bad name)

have you tried the big button? it work for me on the 7th try

I have been trying all of them :(

Main reason I want to hack right now is to backup my saves, worried all this crashing and rebooting is going to corrupt them in the first place at this rate....
