Hi, I wrote a "beta" driver for windows, it's emulate a WBFS drive as a real drive in the windows file browser. Don't forget it's a beta version and read the readme for more explication. http://www.zshare.net/download/65873460a29e4422/ http://rapidshare.com/files/282758398/WBFS...y_Ac_K.zip.html
Does this mean that I can now add a partition to the HDD that is already WBFS formatted since in therory windows will now recognize this as a valid file format?
I cannot download from the link you provided because it says that I am using ad blocking software which I am not. Can you up load it to megaupload or something similar so that I can test it out. Thanks
Ok this worked and now windows recognizes my WBFS HDD. What can I use to set a partition to my HDD. Partition Magic or do you recommend something else?
Parition Magic is really good but, u can try also Easeus Partition Master wich the Home Version is free.
How would I go about setting the partition now. The drive letter that is assigned by my computer for the HDD is I but the letter assigned by WBFS Driive is now W. Do I need to change the HDD drive letter in partition manager to W? Or is it still impossible to put a partition on a drive that is already formatted fo WBFS?
Doesn't work on my windows 7 oem, cam anyone help me? thanks in advance Edit: got it working. had to install dokaninstall32.exe in compatabilty mode then it worked fine, thou it only let me open the drive once before i got errors. cant wait for full release, keep up the good work
Brilliant invention am impressed. I have a 500 gig wbfs formated drive and wanted to add a fat or fat 32partition for homebrew could this program help ? What I mean is if I have the main drive with my games as I have now could I add a smaller wbfs drive which I could then convert to a format hold homebrew etc.
OK when I go to use partition magic I go to advance and try to change the drive letter to W from I which is the letter that is assigned to my HDD ATM. There is no W to changew the letter to. I'm starting to doubt that this will work for making a partition in a WBFS formatted drive.
