Hi all

I have an issue with my USB drive (Toshiba HDDR320E04EL_CS 320GB). Whenever I read or write a WBFS file to my drive the read/write speed keeps dropping to zero (I'm checking via HD Tune) I have tried coping the files using Windows, WBFS Manager 3.0 and Wii Backup Manager, even when backing up games via the wii (USB loader GX), it copies a few percent then stops and restarts again. The drive was working fine until a week ago, this has a knock on effect that when playing games the BGM stops or the game freezes or hangs. I have tried different USB cables but to no avail also files that are not WBFS copy fine. I have formatted the drive to try WBFS, Fat32 and NTFS (32 bit sectors) and nothing makes a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Yea, I thought the drive may be at fault its just strange that it only happens on WBFS files (I did get it happen with folders with lots of pics in), but as its under warranty I've managed to have a replacement sent out

. Here's hoping it doesn't develop the same problem.

Thanks for the help
