Hey peoplez!!

I've been searching far and wide through the interwebz and I can't seem to find an answer to my question, Can anyone help??

I know the wbfs format for Wii games takes up less space on a external HD, but Im wondering...... If I convert an ISO to wfbs, will it automatically scrub the ISO during conversion or should I already have a scrubbed image of the ISO first before converting to wbfs???

Just trying to save the most disc space possible. Thanks GBATemp

1) If you use a WBFS-Partition, your games will be scrubbed/get smaller, that's the sense of this Filesystem. The only thing you can do to even save more space is to remove the Update/Channel-Paritions, if you want. The App you use to transfer them maybe has this option.
2) If you use FAT32/NTFS (which I would recommend for N00bs, btw.), you'll need to convert your games to .wbfs, which will have the same results as described above.

I read on other threads that fat32 using .wbfs or .ciso formats saves more space than wbfs filesystem. I use wbfs as that was what was available when I started, but most ppl recommend fat32 now.

I've tested (as have countless other people) and I (and they) can confirm!!!

FAT32 file system is the best option....

the size difference between WBFS file system and .wbfs on FAT32 is negligable!!

...if they are, you are clearly doing something wrong..........
