Warner Bros Entertainment recently registered a new website domain named simply "Scribblenauts Remix". Scribblenauts being the very popular DS game (and its sequel) which allow players to type out words such as nouns and have the game create this thing onscreen in the form of a real sprite. This news could very well mean a new Scribblenauts game is soon to be announced, it's extremely likely. But as of yet, all we have is the domain name. It's unknown what system it could potentially be for. We will probably know soon enough, keep an eye out for incoming announcements in the near future. The word "remix" could indicate an updated version of a previous game however, we shall see. [/p]

Hmm... Scribblenauts port to the 3DS?

No thanks. I'd rather have a new game. Although the game was... meh.
No reason to jump to conclusions about what that Remix part may be. That was just me personally suggesting a possibility.

What could they possibly add this time? Verbs?

I imagine "slow determined hungry invincible silly lethal dwarf chasing colossal green delicious winged supersonic timid sandwich" would spawn quite the scene.

Please don't make another remake for the 3DS.

A port for other systems would be okay with me though. Sharing is nice.

It would be nice to see scribblenauts in 3D (Models) and using the 3DS's capacity. No doubt it would be a nice game.

They could add verb commands, that'd be awesome.

Still waiting for Scribblenauts 2, though.

IIRC the developers said they were interested in WiiU, right? Maybe something related with it, then? Who knows.

Maybe this is an enhanced port for HD consoles...

It would be nice if you could control Maxwell with the d-pad and buttons instead of being required to use the touchscreen to attack. I know you can move him with the d-pad but you can only attack by touching the enemy on the touchscreen. Kinda slows things down and disrupts gameplay. However, seeing as this game is meant to be for strategy and thinking of quick ways to solve a problem this isn't really a problem but more a personal complaint.

A WiiU Scribblenauts could work very well. The controller can work like an actual customizable keyboard.

I dunno if I'd like it in 3D though, the 2D sprites are part of the charm.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be for the Wii U, it sounds like it would work extremely well. But just because it's for the 3DS doesn't mean it has to use polygons for the game world. There are a few sprite based games for the system. First one to come to mind is Rayman Origins. You can get depth between background layers.
