My home network is protected with a WPA passphrase, and as you may know, the DS doesn't support WPA, only WEP. Is there a homebrew or a way that I could make using WPA possible?
Ah, I see. Didn't know power was involved. Thanks for clearing that up, though. Not that I know of. And I really doubt that there will be. The reason that it's not available in the first place, is that the DS isn't powerful enough to handle it (at a reasonable speed).
QUOTE said:DX Note: theoretically this is a standard USB 802.11B wireless networking dongle and should work with all WiFi enabled devices including laptops, PDAs, Wii, PS3, PSP, and NDS. This package comes with some specific software designed for PSP. Also, instructions are printed in Chinese (software is available in English) so if you don't read Chinese make sure you understand how to set up a Ad-Hoc wireless network under the OS you use.
I had the original Nintendo WiFi adapter, but now as I never internet with my DS anymore only use it on my mother's computer as a wireless network cardyeah but the forum box on the bottom of the item page on dealextreme has people saying not to get it because they aren't able to make it work for the ds...
so theoretically it "should" work but people are not able to get it to work.
has anyone ordered this product and gotten it to work?
