Problably. The best in it that it'll work on all drives.

Oh, and I just bought the chip and soldering form the poland group MICRO_GAMES. I will report how te chip is working if you want (I'll get console in monday)

Don't know if it's indeed "The Best" but got one installed on D2B/USA and no prob's so far. Haven't tried on the D2C yet.
Also, unlike Cycolwiz etc., played SSBB no problem "out of the box".

I would recommend it for sure.

Hey, DvDrmann, it's a scrubbed version or normal version? Some Polish forum claims that scrubbed version don't work on WASABI. Will it work?

he said out of the box so im assuming he actually bought it, i too have a wasabi that runs flawlessly, D2B USA.

the only thing i want to do with it is playing wii and probably gcn games so its ok because of the ability of updating via dvd...
ill do it at konsoleplanet.de, a german service...

Right now, the DVD upgrade functionality hasn't still been demonstrated. It doesn't have a JTAG connector, so if their "Work-in-progress" on DVD updates won't give the hoped results, you might be stuck with a non-updateable modchip, as they still have to provide proof that the Wasabi is TRULY upgradeable.

I would trust D2Pro more. The D2Pro Team is known to be hard-working and they've said that with the next upgrade they would enable DVD upgrades... Just be sure to get the latest version (the one with the SPI on it) installed.

Just a simple Question.
Is it right, that the Wasabi Chip is temporarely the best Chip available?

the wasabi has not been very stable on d2c wiis , the d2pro9 would be my choice over the wasabi . when ever i install a wasabi and i have problems , red light ,etc. i always take it out and install a d2pro9, i only fit wasabi if customers ask for them specifically.
however WASABI are releasing a new chip shortly http://www.wasabi.net.cn/index.html .the wasabi team reckon its rock solid , more than they could say about there first chip they released, they still haven't fixed the issues they have with it.
