This "wave" seems very odd to me.. I flashed my xbox to 1.61 about a week before MW2 came out, and I have been playing on Live ever since, still no ban or flag yet

. Im not expecting it to last though. Hopefully I'll be good until LT comes out (knocks on wood)!

Ive already been banned but I was waiting for the Lt Firmware to come out which supposedly makes it so that we never have to flash again(I pay someone to flash my xbox since I cant do it myself, so it would make it easier then having to bring it back all the time) but who knows when that LT Firmware will be released..so I dont know if I should just update to 1.61 or wait for the LT Firmware to come out..Ive heard about those patching programs that patch wave 4 games to wave 3 but I dont think those are very reliable. Ive read how some games work and others dont so I dont want to waste disks on games that end up not even working so I Dont know what to do

you get a 3 day ban if you get a certain amount of reports
as for as cheating, racial slurs, and what not it may become permanent

I've lost the fate in C4EVA, I'm not gonna flash my X360 again with LT.

Why would you not do that when it comes out? It will save you a boot disk on LiteOn drives.

I'm glad they just do 3 day first, instead of instant permanent ban.

What I find most interesting is, that they save the flag into your flash memory...why would they save it locally? that may be some leakhole over there.

theres no way to check, its all anonymous
though people who sometimes give a report leave bad rep so they do not encounter you again when they play online

Yeah i know, its not a crime to at least hope.

Losing fate in c4eva, well nobody told you to even use his firmware (this is if your talking about the undetectable sense) i mean we all took the risk, and clearly it was our fault.

Exactly, i never really played on live, but i liked having my console online, and i enjoyed the XBLA games and such, meh even after the "ban" im the happiest man ever STILL getting games for free
