Hi GBATempers! I've heard what a lot of you people think about Windows Phone still you can't deny that its one of the fastest growing os:es, and deserves a place on the forum as much as Android and iOS does. Btw, WP is at ~4% Market share while iOS has ~10% market share and is constantly losing.
Whatever some of you think its just fair that you add such a section.

'~' means about, and that market share is for Europe....

No, the site claims it's for worldwide markets. Windows Phone is hardly popular at all, and will probably stay that way as long as Android is still a thing. There's no reason for a dedicated Windows Phone section when the need for it is practically zilch.

Especially here on GBATemp.

I said that what I wrote in the post where EU market share.

But that's a but like saying "Arabs and Christians are bigger then Jews, so Jews can live worse than the other two because they are smaller" (for the record, I don't believe in religion)

A), That comparison is absolutely wrong.
B), There's NO significant need or request for a Windows Phone section compared to Android or iOS. We're not going to create a subsection that's not going to get any views or any threads, especially since we're not a community focused on smartphones at all. Android and iOS have their own sub section because there was significant interest in the 2, and navigating the original Mobile Devices section was a pain. In this entire section, there are 2 threads about Windows Phone.

If you want to discuss Windows Phone, do it somewhere it actually matters.

:rofl2:

Not a single post in this thread is bashing the OS. We're trying to explain to you that here, on GBATemp, there is ZERO interest in Windows Phone in general. There are almost NO THREADS on the OS, NO DISCUSSIONS, absolutely nothing that warrants an entire subsection. We're not going to make one just because you want it, there has to be actual interest for a subsection to be made. You don't see a Blackberry section, or a Symbian section, or a Jolla OS section, etc etc etc do you? Because, y'know, there's no reason to have empty sections.

That probably explains the lack of an Ouya section.
