ROM Hack Wall-e wont work?

Hi all

my son has got an r4i v1.4 running the latest firmware, i cant get wall-e to work!! have tried loads of different versions but all of them boot into the menu but the crash when you choose new game!! and hang on a white screen.

Any know of a fix please?
