Why don't you just ask Nintendo straight-up for the real answer?That's just speculation, not confirmed.
I did this too. I checked the date that it was created on. Wrote down the order in which I did my consoles and put them in order. It was obvious because I did four consoles with about a month between each.I have an... very stupid and avoidable problem. I want to switch to a non-screen init fork of A9LH (i dont like the topscreen light powering on and off at boot). But... I have a problem. I installed A9LH to lots of consoles and im not really sure that the OTP i have on a certain folder of my PC is mine. I can check it? I have an O3DS.
Thanks.
Twlfirm starts and configures the hardware to resemble a DSi, then it stops doing most of what it does in DSi mode because it needs to reach DS mode, which doesn't have a background OSI know, but the 3DS uses TWL to simulate the DS.
The SDK appears to call it "Project Horizon"That's just speculation, not confirmed.
what all nands the 3DS has, and what they're used for?

Noice! What is KTR and CAT?The following describes what each section of the NAND is used for:
http://3dbrew.org/wiki/Flash_Filesystem
Hope that helps...
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
Notes I had taken on paper, original sources lost to the mists of time:
CTR == 3DS Codename "Horizon" / "Chiheisen"
NTR == DS Codename "Nitro" / "Nitoro"
USG == DSLite Codename "Thin" / "Usui"
TWL == DSi Codename "Twilight" / "Towairaito"
RVL == Wii Codename "Revolution"
Might not be anything special, all 3DS-compatible consoles are some variation on "?TR"... and the dev WU is probably "Cafe" + "T" which appears to be common on dev consoles ("RVT-H")!Noice! What is KTR and CAT?
