Did you run the installer as an administrator?

After trying the process, I got a few errors relating too missing files. Seems that it wants files in C:\WADDER\, which don't exist.

BUG REPORT
---Missing file dialogs popup---
---Reproducible, every time.---
[[ Perhaps on your machine you have the C:\WADDER\ files, but they are not given out in the installer. Probably just a few hardcoded filepaths remaining in the code ]]
The filepaths are ALL hardcoded to C:\wadder\ (because filepaths with spaces don't work, i made sure that it would). The installer creates this folder, and everything MUST stay there. Did you run the installer as an administrator?

Try a different app. that is the dol's fault, not Wadder's

Yes, I'm pretty sure. Running Windows 7 here.

Have you tried adding "quotes" around filepaths with spaces? That should make them work. Whenever I've dealt with calling programs via commands, I've usually had "s added to each filepath, and its worked.

Doesn't work with the way im launching the BAT file, and not hard-coding it would take lots of more stuff that I don't have time for.

Does C:\wadder\ exist? edit: log on as an admin THEN run the program and it probably will work

.

VISTA/WINDOWS 7 USERS: try running it as an administrator!

Can you make WADder be able to inject dol file into an existing wad file ? Many Thanks !

P.S. The "Auto Injectuwad Injector v3" does not work on many PCs.

I just tried running the installer as admin. It seems to work for awhile, but during the process, I get 'filename is not valid' errors with 'LogoChan.tpl'. Now that I'm reading it, it seems that everything is good, but the first letter of the filepath is missing, there's no 'C', it starts as ':\wadder'.

After the error, the program paused at the save file dialog, where I added the C, and it finished smoothly.

icefireicefire,

Hats off to you, a few days ago, I told djdynamite and the others on the #002 Error thread that I am envious of them on how fast they do the WADS and promised myself that I'll be learning on how to do the WADS. I went on & search for a tutorial then luckily I saw you on the other thread you started (which you have only 4 post then) talking about this WADder thing.

You are heaven sent. To top it all, you uploaded it to mediafire (no need for me to make extra request / as before it was uploaded to rapidshare-which is almost next to impossible for me to download from)

Thank you very much, your work is very much appreciated.
May you have a very very Merry Christmas

I'm glad my first release ever is getting such a good reception!

Ok, so I dual boot into XP and the program works fine....think you could release source so someone with vista can fix the program? Looks like it might have something to do with long file name or something.

[edit]
For those wondering about graphic sizes:
Banner 590x332
Icon 128x96
Logo 112x32

icefireicefire, you should consider putting those values in the GUI in parenthesis next to each of the fields to make it a little more dummy proof.

Whoa... this is awesome!
I could never get injectuwad to work on my PC(s). Thank you so much for this.
As other's have requested, it would be great if we could inject into an already exsisting wad with this.
To say, update channels with new releases of HB.

FREAKIN' AWESOME APPLICATION THOUGH NONE THE LESS, THANKS!

I believe if you replace the base.wad with your own wad renamed to that you could update it...

don't hold me to that though....

Just tried it and it worked perfectly. Great work!

Here's what I would like to see:

FEATURE REQUEST
---Option to remove sound from a wad---
---none---
[[ To save internal space ]]

For a dol injection only function you could use the command line programm injectuwad.exe from autoinjectuwadv3.

Btw, your download link just got removed because the common-key is copyrighted.

Again, thanks for this awesome piece!

did i tell you that in PM? should of put the common key in another set of zips hehe
or next release...TELL others need to find their OWN COMMON KEY, that's how allot of programs say it now, instructions requires a common-key etc,
smile.gif

QUOTENo, there is almost no risk. It resizes the images and such to the correct sizes.

Just don't touch the computer while it is going.
It does? Oh that's awesome.

So no touching the computer. Gots it. *makes WAD. touches CD drive in process, distributes said WAD*
There basicly isn't a RISK at all, i tested the earlier releases, not one bad .wad even IF ITS NOT PACKED CORRECTLY it will install, BUT the channel becomes "hidden, WHILST BEEN CORRUPT"

will not give you any bricks, also ICE, i noticed i tested if a few days ago, and i clicked something whilst it was firing allong, and it came up with an error, i then clicked near it & IT RESUMED.....? and the .wad worked, lol

Tell you what it is magic watching fly by hehe...

Great..went sleeping, and after I was awake, I saw that it was finished...I was happy and wanted to download it...now it's gone...

Can somebody please repack a version without the Key, and then upload it? Many Thanks in Advance...

For those who still don't have a key.bin...I used the old one included in the first beta of Wadder (which Link wasn't removed...realy funny...) or:

4) Download
5) Follow the Instructions
