Hi to all! I'm had a problem yesterday with the Wad installer 1.5. I've installed HBC yesterday too. My wii is at 4.2U Homebrew, and I tried to install cIOS but, it always freezes! The Wad Manager 1.5 freezes too! I want to install many wads, so what I have to do? I've searched in GBAtemp, but the topics that I had found, doesn't work.

Please help me.

Good Day to all!

I've used this guide, http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=168890, so minutes ago, and i've installed the preloader, and now I can't acess the original menu from Wii, it load the preloader menu. What do I do now? I need my Wii back! This is a very huge problem!

Thank you.

I can't do anything! It shows a black screen, with the options o preloader, but some options show errors! Can I revert the things what I've done?

did you at least configure preloader to load the sysmenu at bootup?

dont reinstall the sysmenu for no reason, you'll remove what bick protection you have and noone want to hear another brick story

The Preloader Guide for the stickies!!!!!

Code:
0.1)Now, after the install, turn off your Wii
0.2)Turn it on again, it should boot a preloader menu, if not, turn the Wii off again. Hold Reset then press on
1)Go to Settings
2)Set autoboot to System Menu, HBC, or installed .dol, or rather, off.
3)Set return to according to your preference, here's a matrix:
i)Preloader: If autoboot is set, it'll boot the autoboot. If not, it'll return to preloader menu
ii)System MenuL It'll just boot to the System Menu
4)Go to system hacks (Should be in the main menu)
5)Gratz! You've set preloader!

Follow Step 4a, to install a .dol to autoboot. If not, then you're basically done.

just noticed your on 4.2

anyone as a way to install preloader with system menu 4.2 and make it work with the new homebrew channel 1.05 ...
to install it on System Menu 4.2, you'll need to patch ES_Identify (aka ES_DIVerify) into IOS70, then install preloader. However, I'm not sure of an app to patch IOS70 with ES_Identify. Anyway, if you find an app to do that, then patch IOS70 and then install preloader and it will work fine. the only thing which wont work is auto-booting HBC. However, there is a simple workaround. Install Crazy Intro as the installed dol and autoboot to it, then change HBC's title ID in the config file to JODI instead of HAXX. Then just set it to autoboot the .dol, and when you turn on your wii, you'll get a custom health screen where you press A to go to system menu or B to go to HBC.
you can use the freethebug batch program to add ES_identify to any IOS

The preloader is alredy installed. By reading another topics I think what I need to do is this:

1- Install Wii System Menu 481.wad (4.2U)
2- Runs Nandclean to delete some traces from Preloader
3- Restart wii.

Is this correct?

pretty much yes BUT its adviced you dont as preloader can help unbricking certain bricks, you can silently set it up so the only way it boot is if you hold the reset button at the wiis boot up

just install a patched ISO70 and it should load the sysmenu after that

I've done that! The original menu is here, and now I can install Wads! Thank you for you all that helped me! I love you all!

THANK YOU!
