Hacking Wad Causing this HW malfunction??

Ive had my Wii since day 1, then the Wiikey as soon as it was released (wii was fine for well over a year now)

Since last week/ when I started to use/install WADs my Wii has been UNABLE to go into standby (YELLOW DOT)

I use to be able to press the power button for 1/2 second (1 click) and it would turn yellow and allow my USB charger to charge my controllers ....

NOW (as of last week) when i click the Power button it goes to RED and totally shuts off ...... HELP

i have done a full system format and still nothing!

plz everyone check if your wii has this prob. Took awhile for me to notice!

Go to settings, and turn Standby on.

Turn on WiiConnect24
