Hacking vWii Softmod Question (Gecko OS)...

I noticed that sometimes Gecko 1.9.3.1 sometimes crashes when booting a game with cheats or even when going back to vWii Menu. I think I did the softmod correctly as I followed the guides on here. Has anyone else experienced this?
