Hacking vWii, semi bricked?

Believe it or not I couldn't get that to work. Every time I tried booting YAWMM directly, the stage select screen would hang and give me nothing but the "loading" animation on the hacked save file. Had to use the more roundabout method.

I'm following those steps now, BTW. I'd be willing to bet those missing IOSes are why I was having such a hard time with Nintendont.

There's a couple of YAWMM available, most likely just had the wrong one.

Nintendont only uses IO58, it does not use CIO2S 249-251. (249-251 are mainly used for playing Wii games) [they also make great recovery IOS since they retain NAND access and ABHPROT]

Are you missing those IOS? Because without 56, 57, or 58, I doubt you can run HBC. Did you ever install CIOS? (249-251)

Hi EmmCee Kerser, thank you for responding, I need them because as I was trying to get my HBC set up, I mistakenly installed these wads: "IOS56-64-v5661, IOS57-64-v5918 and IOS58-64-6176" through YAWMM, when I rebooted I tried to go in to HBC and when launched, it goes black every time.

can you help me I have a semibrick me what happened by accident with MMM install IOS 56, 57 and 58 and now I can not install the hackmii not press 1 for vwii.

Same issue as OP, have managed to install the IOS58 wad installed chanel thingy posted by
damysteryman but I just need a clean IOS58-64-v6432.wad which i cannot find anywhere. Can anybody help me please?

Didn't work for me. I tried it won't run the IOS58.wad (something i think to do with signing? or a ticket?) anyways I tried this through the method using IOS58 installer channel and through smashstack then YAWMM. The only way I got it fixed was to get someone to send me an original IOS58 file. This has fixed the issue now and I was able to re run the hackmii installer exploit and get my homebrew channel back.
