Hacking vWii Gamecube controller support?

I remember this being a big deal but now I'm not hearing about it as much anymore.

Any movement on it at all? I'd sure love to play Brawl on my WiiU.

Why with just Nintendon't? I'm sure there is some way to load a game with Wii U GC support if it already had it.

Also support for emulators as well since apparently it doesn't work on them either.

But yeah we shall wait for IOSU
