    Anyone know a good freeware program which lets me edit .VOB files?

    Edit to do what:
    demuxing for further use I suggest DGMPGDec:

    Basic editing the rather nicely named vobedit and the counterpart in Ifoedit. IFO (and bup) files are what controls chapters, subtitles and a host of other things.

    PCGedit if you have a serious bit of work to do.

    DVDShrink is not bad at remaking DVDs but there are better apps:
