Hey all just seeing if anyone has checked out vNes and vGBX, I think they have real potential as the best time wasting websites of 2010 lol i beat Brock on Pokemon Blue at University the Other week only to find out you cant save on it yet :0(

Well, the website owner(s) THINK(S) it's legal, probably even fooling this guy into posting it:

Unlike our competitors, [link removed] is able to provide you NES/classic Game Boy and Game Boy Color games legally. We can only provide you with classic NES/GB games that we have an original cartridge of, which have either been bought out of pocket or donated by Players Like You™. If we don't have the games in our possession, we can't have them online.

How it works is that a rom file is download to temporary files and is discarded when you are done playing, and the rom is played in a Java coded emulator.

It does seem kind of illegal though, being that you could dig the rom out of your temporary files at a whim.

still, this technically doesn't even count as downloading, as it's an in-browser emulator.

But it's technically legal in the same way that borrowing someone else's PC discs and installing a game on your comp isn't technically pirating.

You can play D-Pad Hero!

Didn't expect it to have a homebrew game on there.
