Hacking VLC Desktop Streaming?

Did anyone get this to work on a WiiU?
I'm kinda too stupid to get it working, so would someone mind trying it? ^__^
Maybe there could be a way to combine it with vashg's "GamePad to PC Controller" release?
I know it will probably fail because of the video stream lag... but could be worth a try.

oh ok. I've seen that thread before, but never bothered to read it, thought it was about yet another method for streaming videos from your pc hdd to your wiiu browser like plex does ^^.
