Hardware vita price drop?

I really doubt it at least at the moment or the near future. Sony has multiple said they wouldn't cut the price, but then again, if you really want a PSVita for a good price, check out the Black Friday deals for example. I bought a smexy White PSVita + AC3 + 4GB memory+ PSABR (US PSN Voucher) + 3 months PS+ (US) for $179.99 inc. shipping on Amazon (Gold Box deal IIRC). That's roughly 135€, which is about half the price of a normal PSVita (without the bonus material) in Finland. If that's not enough to make someone buy the console, I seriously doubt they'd be willing to buy it at a lower price either.

So to sum it up, look for a good deal if the price is too high. That way you can really get a good deal :P
 
Good bundles > Price Drop.

Just get the AssCreed bundle and you're set - count how much you're saving by getting a bundle. ;)

He's not saving if he doesn't intend to buy AC in the first place... That said, I find the White Vita to be so sexy! If I had the money I would definetely buy it :P

There are other bundles too, y'know.

Besides, expecting a PSVita price drop isn't really well-founded considering the specs - comparing it to other devices based on similar architectures, it's cheap already.

In some cases, it doesn't matter if he likes AC or not. I got my Vita bundle at half the price of just a normal Vita console itself. It's pretty obvious that it's a better option than to have just a console price drop. One of the reasons I'm waiting for a good 360 deal with similar discounts. It's not that I'd really need a 360 (I have pretty much more games than I could play for the next decade), but getting a good deal would be a reason to get the exclusives for the console. Just like the Wii (99€) :P
 
Ok, bundles are a good deal. But Sony should still make a price-drop just for the sake of giving customers one more option, especially for people who don't like the particular games that come with the bundle. Also, this could show people that the console got a more attractive price.

I know people who loved the Vita will just get some way to buy it for a cheaper price but most people are not loyal Sony fans, they will just choose between a handheld console themselves and the price gap between the 3DS and the Vita really favours Nintendo's console.

And, btw, the Nintendo 3DS have its own bundles and also got a price cut.
 
i saw on geekay uae that ps vita 3g + 8 gb memory + 10 games voucher for 240 $
 
I don't know if the OP cares anymore but supposedly there's going to be a price drop announced on Tuesday along with a bigger memory card. Right now it's just rumors right now.
