Is there a way to stream the virtual Wii on the Wii U with the elgato hd 60 ? Each time I go into the virtual wii he disconnects and find no signal

The video mode changes from 1080p to 480p when you enter vWii, make sure your capture card either supports resolution changes or is set for 480p before you enter vWii

So I guess I need to buy a new one :/ ..there is no way to upgrade the resolution from the virtual wii?

or maybe play the gamecube games direct in the wii u ?

I'm fairly certain you can use the Elgato Capture software to adjust the input resolutions...

It should work according to this. Have you tried connecting the elgato after you enter wii mode?

I'm able to record vWii with Elgato HD60, on Capture Settings, put it on Other, instead of WiiU and change it to 720p, that's all

Also according to a user reddit try disabling vWii output to gamepad and to TV only, see if that helps.
