Gaming Virtual Console Wads

After having not spent anytime with the Wii for a long time I felt like playing a VC wad. So I go to load the game from the main menu and the game audio is garbled and the screen is slightly cutoff. Regular Wii games don't have this issue. I can try later on different wad rips, but I can't imagine a wad rip not being proper.

Anyways is there a particular MIOS that needs to be re-installed? I remember fiddling around with some different programs, with varying degrees of satisfaction, so its possible that is why VC wads don't load quite right. Thanks.

Paper Mario, Smash Brothers and Yoshi's Story. All official VC titles. And all suffered from this issue.

4.1 via the smash brothers hack. I've played VC Wads before perfectly on the console. That's why I was hoping to reinstall a MIOS file related to VC titles, with the hope this would solve the problem.
