So same as the other essential threads, basically vote for the games that you would regard as worth purchasing.

I know that there are threads for Mega Drive/Genesis, SNES and others but I wanted one that only had games you can buy on the Virtual Console channel for those who are not sure what to get plus there seems to be various threads started by people who are not sure what to get. Also some VC games aren't as good as they are on the original console due to some sort of emulation cock up.

Votes will only be accepted if:
    1. The game is actually on Virtual Console NOW.
    2. You mention which console it is on.

I bought many virtual console games, my best are: Sin&Punishment, Starfox, Paper Mario, MegaMan, Gunstarheroes, SuperCastlevania4, Streets of Rage II, Super Probotector 3

But my all time classic virtual console game is F-ZERO X

i played it easily for more than 100 hours...
in my opinion this game is a pure monster of gaming joy!!!
Staff Ghost beating on all courses can be a lifetime archivment!
Really can recommend this overlooked title to everyone who likes good racing games!

Definately The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (N64).
Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis) and Super Mario Brothers (NES).

Thanks Hadrian, but I must say - I like the "Recommened, Essential, etc" way of ordering the list.

    Edit:
Pokemon Snap was added...add that please (N64).

    Downloadin' now!

Well as I said at the beginning, I was waiting until more votes was cast but now there is its done. At the moment 4+ is Essential, 2+ is Recommended and 1+ is just Noteworthy. Again this will change when there are more votes.

    Its been updated.
