Hardware Vietnam 3DS?

My friend is in Vietnam, and I really want a Japanese 3DS, so 2 questions:

First, what region is the 3DS in Vietnam? and what language is it in? ( I need it to be in Japanese region and language)
Second, will the price cut take effect there as well? at the same date?

Can anyone provied that info?

For southeast Asia, It is called ASI version. It is distributed by Maxsoft

Eventhough written on the 3DS box is ASI, it is the US version actually..

Japanese version is cheaper than US version here.

EDIT: are you talking about the one that cost 3.600.000 dong? if so that really is cheap, do I need to order it online or is there an acutal shop you can go to?

the classification on this one says English, but the title says Japanese. on the other hand, the black Japanese 3DS says Japanese both on the title and the classification. is the blue one a mistake?

Most of us in Vietnam use US region 3DS.
The price is vary, second hand 3DS's price is around 200$. There's a store that selling 3DS at 220$ since last week.
Games are around 35$ in a that same stores, 25$ for used games.

the black japanese 3DS had "japanese" written where the blue says english.
Why is that? is it 2nd hand? can you change the language in the jap 3DS?

I hope so... if my friend in Japan won't find a cheap 2nd hand, then I will tell my other friend in vietnam to get this for me.. but I can't take that risk, even though the title and release date are correct. I mailed the sit, I hope hat they understand english well enough

In Vietnam, they should sell both the JAP and USA version of the 3DS, the JAP version is ofcourse cheaper the the US version in Vietnam. Just tell your friend to ask for the JAP version in the store. Hope this will help! xD

Yeah, there still 2-3 Jap 3DS in store, if you want to. But no new game for Jap 3DS in Vietnam. You must import it, FYI again.
