I have videos on my PC that i have converted to 240p quality and I don't know how to watch it on my 3DS.

Do I have to put it in the DCIM folder or something? Or do I need CFW?

Convert them to moflex format then you can use the moflex player found on that iso site

Hello.:)

Is not easy, because the 3DS has no decent Hardware accelerated Video decoding Ability.
New3DS maybe has but I do not find any Homebrew Player.

Most Users suggests to stream with the Internet Browser (Upload your Video and watch it in the Browser).

Thank you.:)

I may be able to help you without CFW I will get back to you on this

You realize that .avi is just a container, right? If would be trivial to "convert something to .avi" using the wrong codec and get something that the 3DS will never play.
Not to mention I think videos that even would play this way have to be broken into 10 minute clips each.
