Hacking Video of iTouch2

Just put up a video on the itouch2 an hours ago. Still actually testing the cart, but you can get an idea of how it works from this video. Text review coming up soon (today?). Feel free to ask any questions, I'll do my best to answer

I am a itouch2 user and i'm watching it right now, i'll be sure to give any comment

My personal comments , may or may not be included in the video:

-The brightness option doesn't work (yet)
-I'm personally using an 8 gig microsd card and it can actually see more then 100 games in the folder, you can make more folders, also if their are alot of games in 1 folder it takes longer to load
-for people who don't have itouch experience in the past, its actually not self explainetory to change settings, however the official itouch site has a manual

Yeah, just what i expected. The same old iTouch. I mean couldn't they at least throw in a new skin? At least i hope that when DSi gets hacked, iTouch and iTouch2 will get different firmwares and iTouch2 will have more options.

I actually like this cart the best so far, because the EzFlash wasnt compatible with Rhythm Heaven and the Acekard has faulty batches... I'll be getting an AK2i soon for review purposes though, and as long as it's working, I'll definitely compare it to the itouch2

I completely agree with iwakura, best cart so far

I love the iFav feature! it's just so convenient.

I want to make my own skin for it, to make it better looking, but my photoshop skills are non-existant

I have hope that the DSi homebrew channel will work, making flashcarts obsolete, but I want a flashcart to use until then. Would this be a good choice?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know if the Sakura dual boot works with this?

The iTouch2 is straight forward and easy to use. The only word to describe it is stable. The menu doesn't go out of its way to impress you, but it doesn't do anything wrong either. The same can be said about the build and the features. Nothing jaw dropping, but no major faults either. So far in my evaluation, the iTouch2 is just a cart that does what it is supposed to.

The iTouch2 is the best cart out on the DSi, and sadly, that's not saying all that much. I can't wait for my copy of the M3 Real i.

O yea, and nice video review iwakura. I can't imagine doing video reviews... too many stutters and stuff.

at least it has one feature to brag about - iFav xD Looks like they're focusing on advertising the RTS instead though. I want to test this in some more games...

Does your microSD stick out awkwardly too? because mine doesnt fit flush and seems even a bit tilted..

This is the best choice at the moment. M3 real i might be better when it's released (1-2 weeks)

My microsd sticks out ever so slightly, less than half a millimeter, almoooooost flush. As for the tilt, nothing here. Althought I have to ask, does the sticker design seem a little off-center to you? I looks to me like they cut it too far to the right (or left, depends on how you look at it).

My sticker looks pretty center... *tilts head to look at it*

Maybe they hand-cut and stick the stickers on

however like i said, you can't change the brightness in the itouch2 menu

sorry for the double post , but i have an important question: Does the firmware actually get regular updates like the itouch2 site and packaging claim (and advertising on site who sell it)??

ah, yeah, the brightness can be adjusted at any time using that shortcut.

I should add that into my reviews somewhere, just so people dont ask

As for regular updates...I'd say the M3 team is pretty reliable. Since they're the ones handling the firmware/production/support behind the itouch2, I'm fairly confident when I say that you'll get regular updates
