Hacking Video Converter for 3DS

Hi. I have to say... this is the best working converter out of
all I have tried. I used 3DS Video and it was the only one
that worked consistently, but the fps and quality of the movies
weren't as good as your gui, even when setting it manually.
I was very pleased with using your program... great job!
I did have to manually rename my files after the program finished,
but it's no big deal at all to me.

Unfortunately, it seems that my SD card may not be able to keep
up with the movie files... I noticed on my computer it runs smoothly
when testing it, but on my 3DS the FPS does go down a little bit
during certain moments. I'm wondering if it's my SD card that is
the culprit... it's a Sony 8GB Class 4 SD Card. I will probably try
to update to a Sandisk Class 10 sometime later.

Thanks again. Really happy with your converter so far! I tried
it with my Avengers 3D Blu-Ray, btw.

Is there a possibility to add an option to convert videos when you already have it in separated files (left and right)?

In some videos, the first part does not work.

According to user NekuSoul, the fix is as follows:
Instead i fixed the sometimes not showing up first part when the first second wasn't cut.
To fix this just use "-async 1" and "-vsync 1" .

I'm very proud of the last comments.
Because of my work I did not had time to work on it last weeks, and I'm sick these days so not sure it'll be done this week.
I'll try the tip of async 1 and vsync 1, easy to fix.

Not too hard but need work as it's one of my first app, the code is a little bit jerky.
I'll try to add the option as soon as I can, But I'm loaded of work these time so not easy
to free time for this.

So I added the Async Vsync options, hope this will help those who have the problem with the first file that do not show up.

And I'm thinking on how add the possibility to just merge 2 files that had already been extracted

If you can tolerate watching the entire film in 10 minute increments & at roughly 20fps, then I woefully recommend using this video converter; because yes, you can indeed watch Inception in 3D on your 3DS.

Thank you so much. It´s working like a charm now.

About the merging of 2 files (left and right), it´s not really important. I found out that I was doing something wrong when ripping the films...

Regarding the option to merge already extracted files, I already started to work on it

But it'll take time as i'm nearly totally recoding the guy.

As it was a little bit jerky, I'm trying to do somehting litghter and cleaner.

Hi all,

So, if my code is a little bit jerky it's also not so bad organized so I have been able to put the option
of merge separate files easily.

/!\Be carefull to uncheck Delete temp files if you want to keep your source files/!\

A little bug remain, if your source is Side by Side with this Option, you have to re-check Side by Side in the top of the gui once you've clicked on separated filed source.

I also corrected a little bug of resolution, but nobody noticed it

i have converted a movie (2d)and it broke down to 13 separate files and for some reason i can not get all of the files to load up when i put the sd card back in my 3dsxl. some of them show and they do play when they show and they play well. but they wont all show. anyone know anything about this?

tried to get the one before my post but it says that the file was removed due to copyright ingringement. but im pretty sure its one of the latest. i think it might just be my ds. dunno.

Hi all,

Bad news I scratched this week the computer that was holding the last source files (I forgot I dev it on this virtual machine)

The only backup that I have it's the one before.

I don't remember what I did between this release and the last one.

I'll put a link of the before last version, and If I have time and memory put back the changes i did on the last release.

but not before the end of the next week.

If really do not have time, I'll put the source code of the APP if someone want to work on it.
