Yes, sir. The first batches came with a limited edition pack with an artbook and soundtrack. The later copies are just the game. It was released both in retail and the eShop.

Cool....it did get a EU dump so with Gateway's region free USA users can try that version......it sounds like an interesting game SRPG with fighting game characters....does it play like a Fire Emblem type game?

These unboxing videos always crack me up....I mean I am a pretty big geek, I like JRPG and battling card games so that is a pretty big geek....but these unboxing videos have to be for the hardcore of hardcore nerds I feel like they should at least go the extra mile and wrap it and then they can act all excited like it is a birthday present or Xmas gift.

I only posted the video because it was the first thing on Google search with the big box.

It is a Tactical RPG(i.e. Fire Emblem, Shining Force, etc) but it does get HARD in a hurry.

Not critisizing you for posting the video...just poking fun at those that take the time to make them.....its all good but truly about as boring as wathcing paint dry. I still haven't gotten to fire emblem yet and am about 1/2 done with Etrian 4 so when I am done with that I am either going for FE or SMT4 but will five Project X a look sometime soon as I do like SRPG...if you never played the TC Ghost launch game that is an excellent handheld SRPG with a more military/realistic flair......I am wondering if we will see a Advance Wars game on 3DS in the future.

IIRC, the second Advance Wars for DS didn't really sell well, and neither did Battalion Wars and as such, I don't think we'll see a sequel on the 3DS, as cool as it might be.

Yeah I think the second Advance Wars strayed to far from the formula that made them so sucessful on the GBA and first DS game......Inteligent design did say in an interview earlier this year that they would be interested in revisiting the franchise if the interest (meaning money from Nintnendo) was there. To bad with Battalion Wars as that was a pretty cool Wii game. I am hoping that SMTxFE turns out to be great as the WiiU really needs a great SRPG to show what two screens and the gamepad could do for that genre on a home console. I really wish Nintendo would work to make either a star craft or ogre battle game happen on the WiiU
