Hacking [VC Injection] MultiRom possible ?

Hi everyone !

I just started to convert some GB games and I really would like to play multiple ROM without makeing a 130 Mo file.

For example, i' a huge fan of Megaman series and I will really enjoy compiling the 5 games in one rom ! (with a menu selection or anything)

Is there any way to do it ?
And if it is possible, will it probably work with the VC conversion ?

It should work by injecting them into the Super Mario Bros 3 VC game. That one has a build in multi-rom selection.

Only the first 3, I think, will load, and maybe you can't save with all of them at once, I never checked but someone must have.

yeah the multi rom system is a bit buggy.....not much use if you include games you intend to save, also you wont be able to use save states really (unless you stick to playing the one game at a time)

really though if you convert the game to .cia it will only take up like 5mb on the internal SD card and save as normal

I just made on attempt, replacing the .nes files by the 5 rom .gb.




When compiling, my icon and banner and sound appear great. but the rom doesn't even show the 3DSlogo when loading.
What about compiling all the gb in one file ? I don't know nothing about EMS multirom menu or pocket voice menu but I hope with 1 GBC multirom file, there will be no issues right ?

Shouldn't it be possible by adding those gameboy roms into a gameboy launcher?
Something like the EMS Multi Rom?
