Hacking VC games - just need a yes/no

Will NTSC VC games work on a PAL system using the normal Wad manager tools ?
Might they be in black and white ?

'Normal' NTSC Wii games will normally work in a PAL wii. You might need to use a special boot loader, or they may need patching in order to work, or show in colour.

I'm wondering if NTSC virtual console games will also suffer problems on a PAL system.

I own a NTSC Wii 3.2U, and Some of the PAL games I use freethewads and convert them to NTSC. I got a hold of Chrono Trigger with banner and logo, problem it was a PAL version. I used freethewads and started playing it on my Wii, no problems.

Install Preloader and in System Menu Hacks set Region Free VC to enable.

Not familiar with preloader. Been out of the scene for a while, but it sounds like a softmod. I have it chipped ...
