Emulation VBA-M - GB save files, where are they?

Hi,

i need help, i am currently playing Kirby's Dream Land 2 for the first time,
and from what i understand it has the ability to save.
However i can't see that it makes any files, and i don't dare to turn off the emulator cause i am afraid i will lose the data.

When i play GBA games they got a .sav file, but for this game i get nothing.

Fast help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Well completed the game, exported the battery file, and it created one after i closed the Emulator.
Though they don't seem to be the same:S

But it's weird, shouldn't the emulator make the savefile on the spot, if a crash occurs the save will be lost otherwise.
