It's really weird..Do I have the settings wrong or something? It's intermittent also, one point it will play perfectly and then the next time I play its all distorted again.. Any ideas?

hmm nice findPKGINGO said:I've done some testing and here is what I have found out.
All Wii's used are NTSC-U on firmware 3.2U. No GBA BIOS is used. Tested using Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga and loaded through the homebrew channel.
First boot over component cables on an HDTV (widescreen, 480p, burnin reduction on) fine.
Second boot and beyond after the SRAM file has been saved, inverted colors and frame rate issues.
Loading from the same SD card on a Wii hooked up over composite cables to a standard definition TV, 4:3 aspect ratio is fine.
My HD TV has a justification mode which is activated on SD channels (also activated during my first time boot of the game), so I think regardless this is displaying at a 4:3 standard definition resolution.

I am currently not at home, but I can continue to test the Wii here with the composite cable. It would be great to see other people's results so we can track down the bug. I for one would love to get this working correctly on my Wii.
Edit: I forgot to mention, when the colors are inverted and I access the menu (X+Y/Home), The program freezes. I have also freshly formatted the card and freshly copied data (VBA 30052008 and 2 ROMs; Mario & Luigi and Minish Cap) to help ensure no corruption or fragmentation.
