Is it possible, in any way? Like through rxTools?

Just wondering, if in the case of breaking a 3DS physically beyond repair &/or losing the system, but have a backup of my Emunand sitting on my computer/SD and be able to just somehow use that Emunand backup on another 3DS.

Thanks in advance! :)

Unfortunately, NANDs are locked to their hardware units, even emuNAND.

No.
The best you can do is dump the nand xorpads and keep a backup of them. That way, if you lose access to the emuNAND, you can dump it from SD, decrypt and dump ticket.db, movable.sed etc. and perform a manual system transfer that way. But your NNID would not be transferred this way, you'd have to call Nintendo and ask them to transfer it to your new console for you on the server side. You can transfer the files that contain data tied to your console at least, so you can use your savegames and eShop content on the new console.

The usual answer is "No, because they're signed by a console unique key".

But in light of us now having access to all the keys, we may actually be able to at some point.

But that's pure conjecture on my part.

We don't actually have access to all the keys just yet, ones that are set in the bootrom are still not accessible (and may never be), we have access to quite a few of them though.

Thanks for all your replies, I thought it was an interesting topic to talk about and to see if it's theoretically possible, even if we don't have everything available at the moment! :D

Good thing my 3DS XL is still healthy at the moment and I have yet to succumb to those 2 scenarios of either your 3DS physically breaking beyond repair or losing your 3DS.

Obviously a breakthrough in running any Emunands on any devices would definitely make those 2 scenarios a thing of the past for the people that have been/will be affected.
