yes, WD my passport are fine, they are regular HDD.
They are even regular "mass storage device", so you don't have to worry.

you might have to verify few things if it's not detected right away :
in the loader > settings > loader's settings > Loader's IOS : change 249 to 58
some HDD have initialization issue with cIOS, and using IOS58 fixes it.

there are also the format, usually MBR and Primary partition formatted as FAT32 are the best choice.

Thank you for all the help, I finally got usbloader working after 3 weeks, I guess all I needed was an HDD. Thanks!
