Hacking USBLoader with Game Images

i've just made a new forwarder .wad and i'm ftpii'n all the covers over to apps/USBLoader/images/

as soon as its finished i'll report.


status = FAIL

doesnt work with Spacejumps forwarder.

(please could someone also explain forwarder? and wad? differances i got starfall installed didnt like pre loader so what forwarder mean please i know wad is the channel installation.)

anyone trying to integrate the fishear dol (with ocarina & force vid modes) into this covers gui. ofcourse forwarder wad is ALWAYS good to have

There is a LOT of work to be done on the release this thread was/is intended for. It has now spun out of control.

Please be patient. If you want a WAD, you can easily make one yourself ... get reading

I downloaded the lastest pack from Kosiac but im sure thats not every ntsc game is it?

okay i saw that there are some peoples with problem

and some other explained it already
but to clear some things i hard coded the image path to sdcard:/images/ for example
sdcard:/images/bg.png
sdcard:/images/RUPP01.png and so on.
Not sdcard:/apps/usbloader/bg.png

About colored text i can only say that it doesn´t look good
anyway if someone wants to add it

Are you missing any? Trying to find out how many games were released in NA , is almost impossible ... I'm sure I have captured 98% of them ...

If your missing any, let me know and I will add the ones you need to the package.

nothing shows up for me for the following games:

Monster 4x4 World Circuit
Dora Saves the Snow Princess
Spongebob Squarepants the Creature from the Krusty Krab
Pool Party

it's possible I've missed them or I accidentally have pal games. Let me know what you find

sd root>apps>usbloader>images

I have the covers for the other 2 , do you have Game ID's ??? I cant seem to find them, yet.

As another request

I think it would be a good tweak to add scrolling while you hold the up and down arrows for faster scrolling. I know Sorg implemented left and right to act as a "page up, page down" feature.

This has been probably mentioned already so yea, just adding more garbage to the thread I suppose.

Hey nIxx just wanted to say awesome job on combining all these great features in to one ultimate version! Also wanted to point out one issue I'v been having, a few games don't like sorg's video settings and green screen upon loading. eg: excite truck NTSC and pikmin PAL. Both work fine on waninkoko's v1.1 and all loaders using those video settings.

If you or any other coder have some free time could you make a .dol (no I don't need a wad!) of your most current version but with the original video settings? that would be sweet! Thanks to all the coders and artists who have been working so hard on this, it's looking fantastic!
