Nope zilch~ , gonna use a arduino and the serial monitor to see whats being sent out.
I didn't look at your photos until now but why did you solder to the modem and not the motherboard? It obviously won't work that way because you're basically taking one USB cable and putting two devices on it.

I looked at the modem and noticed the USB D- and D+ is cut off , I'll do that then , solder directly to the MB now

Alright soldered directly @yifan_lu updating the main thread take a look , your program told me something (give me 5 mins) and the PS Vita said "This device is not supported"

Can you reboot the Vita, use henkaku, but don't open vitashell, launch usb_detect directly and see if you get any new output?

Okay so it recognizes your Sandisk drive. But VitaShell doesn't for some reason. Can you try another drive formatted fat32/exfat with this and vitashell?

Tried it again with 2 other USB devices with the formats FAT, exFAT , FAT32 , same results and PS Vita says "This device is not supported"

Nothing with VitaShell mounting?
nope , I got a idea but I can put it into words , attempting to change a part of VShell for this.

Can't we use the VitaSDK serial com , usb apis to mount the USB with a separate program?

Really hope you get this to work. Im holding off on buying a memory card till i see how this unfolds. Always love tearing stuff apart and soldering :)

Hi,
could this work with a wifi only vita? soldering direct to the pads where the connector is on the 3g model or are there some other components missing?

hello,
because i dont want to soldering to vita board i create simple pins out board for USB, if come to work in future i build in sd card reader to vita SIM slot. in last photo is yifan_lu usb_detect.vpk i dont no if is right result :)

So... Before I do dumb stuff. If I remember correctly the Wifi Version also has those pins just not with a PCIe connector soldered to it. Anyone know if this would theoretically be possible on a Wifi Vita and can you please make a better picture of the Fixed version. I can't really see which Pins you soldered to. Thanks a lot :)
