I had a problem with Rock Band 2 NTSC in my Wii PAL
When I try to force video ... system video or game video or patched game (the options of this loader) I can't load the game in the right video mode

So if I use sorg loader and "Force PAL" I can load right

Why isn't it a "Force PAL" or "Force NTSC" option?

Once you get past that problem you have a slightly more fundamental one ... none of the instruments will work when RB2 is played via the loader.

@boy2048
mate.... you should better check out a german forum like wii-homebrew.com.
Nobody understands what you want...

/whisper: Schreib mir ne PN und ich versuche dir zu helfen.
Vielleicht klappt'S in deutsch besser.

Hi,

Here is V7.2 (1.4)

1. Now the loader would detect widescreen automatically. You could still use the "widescreen" config, but you could just delete this config option and let the loade to pick for you.

2. The loader would download the correct widescreen covert art for you into wimages_path if you are in widescreen mode. So you don't have to resize yourself now =)

I will put the 1.1 version tonight. Now I need to get back to my work.

Can you try to toss it into 1.5 now instead of 1.1? I think we'd all like 1.5 instead of 1.1 now

thanks for the 7.2
I assume the next major release will be based on 1.5?
Since that has the slow install bug fixed, is a 1.1 based version still necessarry?

Guitar works fine from loader. Just the USB instruments don't work.

Right, if you merge with v1.5 there will be no need to release 2 different versions every time

Why? Rev 10 works flawlessly (if you don't need usb instruments/accesories)

How does the loader detect widescreen?

And for the auto-widescreen detection, it's done by the libogc library. It seems to be able to detect the screen ratio. I will let you guys to test on it.

Much more wide in 7.2 then in "manual" 7.1 config =/

Hungy,

Thanks for all the great work. I think if the 1.5 is bug free and the install feature is back to speed that 1.1 has run its course. This was really the main reason 1.1 was kept a live and it has served us well. But supporting both 1.1 and 1.5 if the features are fully functional is just un-needed work. I a long with many others have appreciated all your efforts along with all the other supporters. We have seen some great efforts and team work, from cool backgrounds, and cover work.

For those interested in a Graphical Interface, I think you have made the source for the actual underlying work of ultimate available to those coders using the graphical interface to implement your code.

What I appreciate about your work and the many others that have submitted fixes, artwork etc is that you guys have designed a good clean loader that is pretty much so configurable that anyone can put there own touch to, or they can run it stock.

Thanks for the hard work.
