Can somebody help? I have a lot of wbfs games, but usbloader gx see just half of them. Looks like some wbfs's folders are not named properly. On wii backup manager all the games are there, but can't find a way to let the program to rename the games to be launched on usb loader gx.

Help please

Just rename them manually on the USB itself using your File Explorer
How rename them? Is like the folder nedd to have the same name as the wbfs?

EDIT: I solved by taking all the bad named folders (with the wbfs inside), puting them all to the desktop and then puting again in the HDD using Wii backup manager.

One more question, there is a way that let read usb loader gx all the wads games installed in the SD card?

Pretty sure you don't have to have the Wii games in separate folders. I have all of mine, probably 1,300+ all just under the single wbfs folder with game name and id code like this: usb/wbfs/Ghost Squad [RGSE8P].wbfs

Now GameCube games work better in separate folders with the actual game name relabeled game.iso in each of their respective folders like this: usb/games/Resident Evil [GBIE08]/game.iso

Guys, now all my games are listed in usb loader gx with cover art. The problem is that many games works fine but others just don't starts, bringing me back to the wii menu.... Why?

Hello. I'm having a problem with GoldenEye 007 on the Wii loaded from an external hard drive. I have 2 GameCube controllers and 2 Wiimotes + Classic Controllers I want to use for the 4 player splitscreen. The GC controllers work fine as long as they're in sockets 3 & 4 and the first Wiimote syncs. However, the 2nd wiimote will sync and say that it's player 2 but then immediately turn off. This doesn't happen in any other games, any way to stop this?

EDIT: sorry I'm still newish here, I think this is the wrong place for asking these questions. I'll make my own thread

Make sure some there are none emunand save settings changed on usbloaderGX game settings.

Maybe just reconnect wiimote trough the sync buttons?

redumping the game didn't work, I'm completely out of ideas :(
Try load game trough other cios. I dont know if you have d2x (you problably should). Change load ios in game settings to 258 or 257. Try the other loaders too (cfg, wiiflow, postloader).

Also try other region version of the game (pal/ntsc)

Don't worry it works now for some reason. I still can't have the gamecube controllers in slot 1 and 2 but that's alright

Seems Nintendont and usb loader gx doesn't work correct with autoboot. I selected autoboot at usb loader settings but Nintendont loaded up without autoboot. Had to select it manually again in the Nintendont loader then it worked. I tried it with kirby airride and it worked nicely. But got another Problem now... If i try to run another gc game, autoboot works but it always starts kirby airride. Seems usb loader gx dont communicate correctly with the Nintendont loader to run the right game

Current release:
  • Added AltWFC and BenFi as private server options
  • Added the ability to edit the cover and banner URLs
  • Added the builds Git commit ID to the boot screen
  • Fixed Japanese descriptions not being displayed correctly
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the storage details to not be shown
  • Updated the networking code to achieve faster downloads
  • Updated WiinnerTag to RiiTag
  • Updated the meta.xml information
  • Updated Portuguese and Korean translations thanks to Codemastershock & DDinghoya
  • Removed some unnecessary files
  • Removed an extra forward slash from the language path
Source: https://github.com/wiidev/usbloadergx/commits/enhanced

Please keep in mind that by connecting to a custom private server you're putting your hardware at risk. I take absolutely no responsibility for what might happen.

I recommend using Wiimmfi if you're going to play Mario Kart Wii as it'll better protect you from known vulnerabilities.

Second release:
  • Added Nintendont BBA emulation and net profile options
  • Restored compatibility with WiiGSC and older forwarders
  • Fixed GPT partition size detection (provided by Cyan)
  • Correctly filter the games list after downloading covers so that Wii games don't go missing
  • Disconnect Wiimotes before calling WPAD_Shutdown
  • Changed "Game Cube" to "GameCube" (update your languages)
  • Enabled the 480p enhancement by default

First release:
  • Fixes cheat downloads from geckocodes.org
  • Fixes a minor memory leak
  • All downloads now use HTTPS
  • Optimised all images
  • Removed some old redundant code

Please send me a private message if you need to report a problem. Don't expect any help from Cyan as this is an unofficial enhanced build.

Now the Dragon Quest X game is compatible with this new USB loader?

Ive been investigating how to make the USB GC adapter work on vWII mode for WII games. It seems especially important for accessories that made use of the GC ports on original WIIs such as dance pads etc.

Scouring the internet I found a few ongoing projects regarding this but they seem to have stalled for a while.

What are the chances of something like: https://github.com/Chadderz121/wup-028-bslug or https://github.com/wilm0x42/wii-gc-adapter-inject eventually being integrated into usbloader gx. It would be amazing to have full native GC port support in vWII mode.

I realize its a really difficult thing and it requires patches to be created for each individual supported game... but it looks like there was alot of working being done for this at some point.

EDIT: after scouring the internet it seems this is a highly requested feature. https://bitbuilt.net/forums/index.php?threads/gc2wiimote-beta.2945/page-6#post-40532

You should stick to FAT32 or you'll run into issues.

If you're having problems formatting a larger card or drive to FAT32 use FAT32GUI Formatter:
---32-bit Link: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/guiformat.exe
---64-bit Link: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/guiformat-x64.Exe
People may not want to use fat32 if they can to avoid splitting the images

You should message blackb0x about adding that feature, although I'm sure he's kind of busy getting custom private servers (URL patching with a custom link/IP) working. Personally I'd love to see gc2wiimode integrated in usbloadergx

Fat32 is the best format for Wii, as it can store Wii and GameCube games, is generally snappy, and Wii Backup Manager can split your files so I don't know why you wouldn't want to split your files?

First and foremost, my gratitude to everyone involved in the development and contribution of this project as it is a fantastic tool we all can enjoy at no cost. Thank you!

I simply want to share my experience as a newbie for those who may encounter the same dilemma I faced not long ago with the forwarder channel:
  • Once installed, if the forwarder channel recognizes the SD card but no USB drive, make sure to use a partitioning tool (I used Macrorit Partition Expert Free) and set the USB drive as primary, otherwise the Wii Channel will not detect the drive at all.
I can also recommend checking Priiloader as well as it has useful tools, and if your main use of the Wii is to load backups from a drive, you can designate the forwarder channel to boot directly from start, saving you time entering the USB drive.

This has been a fantastic experience troubleshooting my own mistakes and issues which led me to learn a lot about the tools and how the software works (On the surface at least).

Thank you for reading, have a wonderfully blessed day everyone. Cheerios~♥

I've uploaded a new release :)

I've also uploaded a version with tabs, although my version includes a few changes. For example, you might notice that it no longer has overlapping buttons, the storage details are always displayed correctly and it'll also display the number of games for each tab.
Tested and noticed loading times longer than I expect. I was thinking if was the tabmod but both versions are with same. My loader ios is 58
Also RiiTag continues as WinnerTag.
Any tip?
