K, thanksLike I said, I don't play Mario Kart, but I think that cheat only applies to the standard game. So you'd boot a normal copy of the game with the cheat enabled, save and then deactivate the cheat and load the modded game.

Launching channels are not always working good with USBGX due to reloading to cIOS249 at launch.I am not sure starting the CTGP Channel works from inside the USBLoader GX.
I wasn’t launching the ctgp channel, I have a Mario kart Wii ISO and Wiimm made a program that patches a MKWII ISO to to be a ctgp iso so I’m able to launch ctgp from a external HDD.Launching channels are not always working good with USBGX due to reloading to cIOS249 at launch.
I tried to add a "requested IOS" option, but it crashed the loader every time I tried to launch channels that way. there must be a way but I failed doing it properly
One day I'll add that feature to fix booting channels requesting IOS58 to get AHB access.
I didn't know about that unlock trick (pressing these buttons seems hard, sure it can't happen by mistake haha)
I also find the search engine really hard to use.
On filetrip it was easy and visible right away.
I think on the old forum design (last year) too.
Now, on the search form is hidden and merged with the forum search form, you have to click the engine, then "more option" and then "search files". and the result -> hotlink to filetrip
It also feels like there are missing a lot of things which were public but not even listed anymore.
or maybe I didn't look in the right subsection. searching and navigating and "uploading new version" to fix hotlinking at least for latest/new releases to be hosted on new server is hard, if not impossible?
unrelated; but one thing I noticed on the new design since I'm back and find awesome is the new "game" menu with all databases. they seem complete and I wonder how it's working, which database it's based of, which website maintaining it, adding games, us?
How to request an edit/fix?

The link earlier, you mean BlackBox's one? There isn't a mod file that I can find. The one linked earlier in this thread doesn't work.
if you want to redirect Wii disc game saves to SD, it's the "EmuNAND Save" option, set it to partial.
if some games need also access to specific (different) Miis, you might want to use "Full" instead of partial, to use everything from the folder instead of the console (settings, wiimote sync info, network settings, miis, etc.)
To delete savegame for emuNAND, you can do it directly in USBGX.
select the game (from emuNAND), go to option, delete menu. there should be an option there. (there should... not sure to remember right)
If not, Savegame Manager GX should work, you probably didn't use the right menu to see game's icons, but instead used a "file list" menu?
First, you should change the settings to point "emuNAND" to the forlder where you dumped your NAND, it can't detect nands/01/ for you as it can be anything else.
then, you set the app to display savegames from emuNAND and it should list them all using icons and names.
"The link earlier, you mean BlackBox's one?
I should add it to first post too, it'll be easier to find.
There's also another one located on first post, but it's a very old revision, with missing features.
you might have to reset your settings or the loader would crash on some menus or game launch if you downgrade, and that each time you "update" by launching a newer version as it'll update the config file.
I didn't test links on first post, let me know if they are dead.
note that I don't provide assistance to these builds, I never used them. I don't know how to setup the plugins."

that's it !"emuNAND save" option but "NAND saes emulation"
Why ? do you need emuNAND save to be full, or did you just set that option randomly? do you know the difference with partial?but "NAND saes emulation" and "NAND channel emulation" are both set to full.
that's irrelevent and unrelated.Example being that emuNAND defaults to sd and gamecube saves default to USB. That was interesting to learn.
Both you and another guy I talked to on Reddit have gone as far as suggesting paths and options to check that do not exist lol.

Sorry, you were right :The first page of this thread, the link for @fledge68 just goes to the forum page 1146, but there are no links on that page.
I'm still lost on how to get it working. Do I edit a file, or do I just replace a file?
I want to make USBLoaderGX act like the one source for all the emulators, instead of going to 4 different channels.
Sorry, you were right :
I'll update the first post link without forum page number, it probably is different due to moderated/deleted posts, and the link is now pointing to another page.
The new link doesn't have page reference so it'll always find it
edit : done!
thank you for pointing that problem out![]()
I understand now, thanks.
I tried to disable arguments, and force nincfg.bin file, it launched (no black screen freeze) but I don't have the HID available (probably normal if there's no USB Access ?), sooooo is it fixed?
sorry it took months to fix
I eventually always come back to fix things, it just takes time.
should have Wii Gamepad fixed (diagonals are working)
should have nintendont setting v8 set (fixes rumbler and ipl setting)
shouldn't crash if HID is plugged when launching nintendont
should loads faster (using ios58), no idea if it helps on hdd detection yet.
not fixed : crashes/freeze when exiting USBGX if using WiiVC inject. no idea how to properly exit WiiVC yet. nintendont is clearing the return stub (prevent freeze?), then using ES_launchTitle(system menu, $views) (heyy, what's this view? I didn't find where it's initialized), which reboot the console instead of really reloading system menu, or returning to loader. Not sure it's what I should do too.
too bad nintendont reboots the WiiU instead of returning to the loader. users have to repatch CFW (if not using cbhc) and relaunch usbgx to play another gamecube game. If I can launch nintendont from USBGX, why nintendont couldn't launch USBGX too ?
Currently, USBLoaderGX reloads the "return to wiiu" channel when in vWii.
It doesn't work when in WiiVC. I don't know how to reboot the console from WiiVC.

it can't work with 1272, it's 1262. they are two different revisions. Will this work with the latest release 1272?
Why would you want that patch ?how do i apply that patch? do i replace the files in rout of SD elf or nintendont folder or usbloader folder?
Thank you for the help with the second part here. I didn't realize I had to create an emuNAND path in Save Manager GX. When I clicked that before, I didn't know there was an option to switch to the source on top. Either way, I can now see the emuNAND saves. So that is good. Why ? do you need emuNAND save to be full, or did you just set that option randomly? do you know the difference with partial?
do you use a full NAND dump folder for the saves?
of not, games won't work and result in black screen.
you have to point to the "root folder" where you dumped your nand, so "sd:/nands/01/" if you didn't change it.
you don't have to brows up to the title, nor content, nor app files yourself inside the tool interface, you must choose to display saves !

What are you understanding here?I don't know if that means it can't save to emuNAND or if it can't use full.
glad you got SGM GX working
I don't understand why it would still save on the console.
are you sure you are launching wii disc based games?
Are you sure you use the option correctly?
are you sure the option is set in global?
is it set in individual ?
would it be conflicting?
How do you know it still save on the console and it's not actually properly saving to the "emuNAND Save" folder set in the loader's settings?
Is that folder properly set? if it's not set, it can't be used, then it's saving on the console.
If you use old cIOS, it can't use emuNAND at all either !
which cIOS are you using?

Maybe it's the "global" option which doesn't work ?The settings in all the games not on the compatibility list with errors are set to "global". Skyward Sword, for example, is now set to "OFF" per your recommendation.
okay, your settings seems all good.
Which d2x v10 are you using? maybe post a syscheck if you don't know. link of the guide in my signature.
Are you sure your loader setting is set to use the correct slot where you have the compatible with emuNAND cIOS? older cIOS or hermes are not compatible. But if it works for WAD it should be good.

sometime I don't understand the reason behind questions asked here.
it can't work with 1272, it's 1262. they are two different revisions.
it's a mod of 1262.
Why would you want that patch ?
it's a part to mod r1269
why not use 1272 instead?
and if you don't want 1272 then you have the choice between old 1269 (without mod 4) or 1270 (with that mod4 patch applied which became the next revision !)
I still don't understand why you would want THAT file linked in that OLD post of mine.
even less when you don't understand what you are doing with provided files.
the patch is NOT FOR THE USERS !!!! IT IS FOR DEVELOPERS !
THE PATCH IS USELESS !
you don't need the patch anywhere on your SD card, the patch is to compile the "dol" included in the zip.... you already have what you downloaded : OLD VERSION ! (why? )
