a quick format didn't fix your issue, but disabling quick format option actually fixed it?
I never use full format, I didn't thought it might be an issue.
Thanks for the report.

For users using vWii and Neek2o:
just a little something I thought.
Fix94 just released a WiiU homebrew to boot directly into a vWii channel !

Imagine something like that :

vWii neek2o -> exit game -> it loads "back to wiiu" channel -> CBHC runs -> loads Mocha -> replace mocha.elf with "boot UNEO channel on vWii" :D

to stop auto-booting USBGX at WiiU launch, just go to CBHC menu and choose to boot sysmenu or hbl, or replace "boot uneo" with the real mocha.elf, or use 2 different SD card, etc.

For me, that did the trick, before that Uneek+DI didn't work and I wondered what the hell is the problem. So I restart again to partitionning all the drive an format it by unchecking quick format just to see if it will fix the problems an boum everything worked well after that !

By the way, just a big thank's to all the work you did on USBLoader GX. Nice work.

Just tried Wiiflow 4.2.1 r441. It won't start any games either :(
I have the forwarder 5.1 not the vWii version...

Ok, something is wrong in your setup. How did you install the game ? Did you install it with Wii Backup Manager, USBLoader GX etc... What is the title format of your installed games ? Which file format do you use, WBFS, ISO ? Give us some details and I'm sure we will find the problem....

The game's is installed on a 1Tb Hdd with powersupply (worked for 8 years now) It's WBFS format and the games was installed using Wii Backup Manager.
Usb loader GX can se the HDD and All the games (250+).. Tried Mario Cart (black screen) Just dance 2016 and 15 (blackscreen) It's the same for WiiFlow :(

Do you mean your Hard Disk is formatted in WBFS format ?

It might be corrupted, then. I'd recommend converting the drive to FAT32 or just copying the games back to a new FAT32 drive.

Yep, do what GreyWolf said, me too, I was like that a few years ago but I changed to FAT32 when WBFS come to be out of date.

You have some work to do now, lol, you have to reformat an recopy your games. Try that and give us some news after that...

Edit: And format it FAT32 with 32k Cluster with FAT32 Gui Formatter to do it the good way the first time. Take the link in my Signature...

before converting to FAT32, check with wii backup manager to see if they are still present and not corrupted.
no need to convert to FAT32 right away, you might have another issue if all your games are good and your partition is good too.

do not reformat and recopy your games, there's a tool to convert the WBFS to FAT32 without doing any copy or data loss.
But it will work only if your drive does not have any corrupted games. so it's why you should first check if they are still detected, and if possible check if they are good.
Wii backup manager > select game > option > sha1 (it's a little long, don't select all games at once)

it's possible some games are corrupted, but it's rare they are black screening/freezing at launch. when a game is corrupted on wbfs due to wrong partition management, they could be corrupted anywhere in the ISO (a map, a sound, a video etc.) very rarely in the main.dol, proportionally based on file count on a game disc.

Though, it's strange that even wiiflow has that issue.

Hi, Me too, the first time I formatted my drive in Fat32 didn't work. I reformat it with FAT32_GUI_Formatter, and I unchecked the quick format and make it 32k cluster, it took 4 hours to format. All working perfect after this. So try to format your first partition with FAT32_GUI_Formatter. Make sure to make your partition active and primary too.

Here the link for FAT32_GUI_Formatter

Good luck.
Well, that sucks for me then. FAT32 GUI Formatter and it's other incarnations have never worked for me. I always get this error:

Failed to open device.
GetLastError()=32
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

be sure you are not currently selecting that drive in the windows' explorer.
if you highlight it and select format, it will not work, you have ti highlight another one and just right-click on that partition to be able to format it, so maybe it's something similar?

if you unplug/replug it, and try again right away it shouldn't be in use by something else.

Close every program on your desktop so your drive will not be used by any program and try to format again... Or try to format it with another PC.
